I want to Thank Knight Glass for replacing our windows at Beech Street Christian Church in Ashland, Kentucky.  They are the most beautiful windows I’ve seen and enhance the beauty, also add to the spiritual feeling for the congregation.  Each window illustrate the different stages of Jesus life from His birth to His assent.

I am writing this letter on behalf of Troy Knight of Glass by Knight Stained Glass Art Studio. Troy recently completed a five window stained glass project for the sanctuary of our church. Our committee met with Troy to discuss our thoughts and plans, and he worked with us to establish a design concept that exceeded our expectations. Once we chose the design for the windows, he provided us with multiple options to enhance the message of the windows and again, his encouragement, guidance, and expertise enabled us to select medallions and colors that perfectly convey the intended message of Jesus in a powerfully reverent manner.

During installation, we encountered some problems due to the 50-year old construction design of the building. Troy’s desire was to give us his best and he worked out a perfect solution which met with the Trustees’ approval and the install was completed quickly and professionally.

I cannot recommend Troy highly enough. He took our goals and made them his own and delivered a set of windows that truly honors and glorifies God. The whole atmosphere of our sanctuary has been transformed by this amazing addition and we are thoroughly pleased.

The door isn’t completely finished yet with the hardware and trim, but I came home Friday to my beautifully custom-made transom by Glass by Knight Stained Glass Art Studio installed. We worked on this piece together until he came up with the perfect design to show off this door and the fleur de lis as a symbol of our town and heritage. I loved it when it was delivered. I love it even more now that it’s installed. Thank You Troy for doing such an amazing job.  The fact that this door is a refinished 1830’s door that has been in pieces in storage for 10 years and is turning out so well is just unbelievable to me. The whole piece is art – the glass, the woodwork, the door hardware. Anyway, wanted to give a shout out to Troy Knight for making me the perfect transom.

 We recently completed construction of a new church facility, New Life Lutheran Church. During the planning and early construction we were fortunate enough to find the services of Troy Knight.
Troy’s work has been outstanding and has been a great asset to the sanctuary. We originally had Troy to do a piece depicting Luther’s Seal for a round window in the balcony. He then completed and installed eight half circle pieces for the side windows in the sanctuary depicting the life of Christ from birth through the resurrection.
 Behind the alter, there is a large four piece window, and in that window he did a full size figure of Christ depicting his Ascension into Heaven with clouds and sun beams. This is the most eye catching and breath-taking piece, as it is he focal point of our sanctuary.
 We have been very pleased with Troy’s work. He went out of his way to find special framework for the windows. He worked hand in hand with the planning committee and the contractors and completed the work on a very timely basis. We welcome anyone to visit our facility and look at Troy’s work. I think you will be very pleased as we are with the end result.”
